E-Safety

Islamia Primary School is an e-Safe school and we do everything we can to ensure our chilldren remain e-safe at all times!

At Islamia Primary School we emphasise the importance of understanding how to use the internet securely. However, as we are all aware, there are risks associated with using the internet that all of our children must learn to avoid. We are dedicated to giving our students the knowledge and abilities they need to make informed decisions to keep them as safe as possible.

Many of our young people own gadgets like tablets, mobile phones, gaming consoles, and computers that can access social media. Unfortunately, if these devices’ settings are not properly secure, they may be at risk. Therefore we like to ask parents to ensure to check the device settings, keep an eye on what your kids are watching, who they are chatting to, and if the content they are accessing is age-appropriate.

The guides below are designed to help you with this and are taken from the National Online Safety website which we encourage you to sign up to.
