Islamia Primary School has been working with Eastside Education on a project with an Artist in Residence. We are proud to be one of the twelve London Schools taking part. The project focused on children expressing celebration through performance poetry. On Tuesday the children shared their poems with an audience of their peers, teachers and parents. The children were able to confidently perform in front of a live audience with some performing solo, while others in pairs or small groups. Mashallah, well done to them all.
