Pupils

At our school, we support students in developing habits that promote their wellbeing:

  • · Encouraging prayer and mindfulness: Salah (prayer) provides moments of reflection and connection with Allah, fostering inner peace and focus.
  • · Building emotional resilience: Through our programmes, pupils learn to understand and manage their emotions in healthy and constructive ways.
  • · Promoting kindness and empathy: Guided by the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) teaching:
  • "None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)
  • · We teach pupils to treat others with compassion and respect, which builds strong and positive relationships.
  • · At Islamic Primary School, we encourage healthy eating as a key part of overall wellbeing. A balanced diet not only strengthens the body but also supports mental clarity and energy levels, enabling us to fulfil our responsibilities effectively. Allah (SWT) reminds us in the Qur’an:

"Eat of the good things which We have provided for you." (Qur’an 2:172)

By choosing nutritious foods and avoiding excess, we honour the blessings Allah has given us and maintain the strength needed to worship, learn, and serve others. A healthy eating routine also sets the foundation for long-term health and resilience.
