Swimming hats are compulsory for swimming and can be purchased via the Jubilee Leisure Centre;
Boys: Dark coloured swimming shorts down to the knees which include lace-up waist;
Girls: Dark coloured full length costume covering arms and legs.
For Health and Safety reasons children may not participate in PE if wearing earrings. Please ensure that they can remove them themselves or do not wear them on day of PE or swimming.
Children should not wear jewellery to school for reasons of safety and security;
Earrings are not permitted but plain studs may be worn although they may need to be removed or covered with a plaster for certain physical activities;
Make-Up is not allowed in school at any time; hairstyles should be consistent with the school ethos, students not complying with this will be advised; watches worn on the wrist remain the responsibility of the owner.
All items of clothing should be labelled. Parents should remind pupils of managing their uniforms at school whilst getting changed for PE or removing their shoes when entering the Masjid to make sure they do not misplace or forget their items;
Any lost or mispalced unfirom items will be placed in the storage boxes at the school entrance, unclaimed items these will be discarded half-termly for health & safety reasons.
Shoes
Plain black, no visible logos - no trainers or fashion shoes - plain black boots, no logos etc. for Health and Safety reasons we are unable to allow open toe sandals.
Hair
The school does not allow extremes of hair fashion i.e. no lines, cuts, patterns, shaved heads, or obvious dyeing of the hair. Hair should look natural. Hair must be kept tidy in the interests of safety (long hair tied back). No marks/cuts allowed in eyebrows and hair styles should reflect Islamic ethos.

Coats
Coats are a personal choice, but hoodies, sweatshirts and denim jackets are not considered to be coats. There is the option to purchase a school over coat from our uniform provider.
