This term, our Year 5 students have been on an exciting journey—one that spans millions of miles! Through research, creativity, and imagination, we have explored the incredible mission of the Curiosity Rover, from its creation in a NASA laboratory to its historic landing on the Martian surface. As we uncover the wonders of space, we were reminded of the Qur'anic verse: ‘And We have certainly created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware’ (Surah Al-Mu’minun 23:17). Year 5 have brought this adventure to life, sharing fascinating facts and vivid descriptions of Curiosity’s journey.
