Thames water workshop involved studying the world map and observing oceans and transport pathways on sea. The children then had the opportunity to learn and see another large scalemap representing the river Thames, historical ports and the meander of rivers flowing from the source to the mouth as well as banks and river beds. The second stage of this workshop will involve pupils experiencing the river Thames and observing the reality of abstract pictures and concepts already studied.
